Programme for 2018 - 2019

There is only one event left for 2018 - dancing at The Three Tuns, Bishop’s Castle, on Boxing Day. The dancing will start at mid-day and continue until about 1.30pm.

When the Morris dancing finishes the public are cordially invited to go up to the Top Room of the Tuns to join in with Christmas Carols, hosted by the Castle Carols group, have a look at their web site for more details:

April 22nd: Traditional Easter Monday Tour

May 24th -  27th: Marlboro Ale, Vermont, USA

June 22nd - 23rd: Bishop’s Castle Midsummer Rejoicing

July 13th: 44th Birthday Tour

August 17th - 20th: Whitby Folk Festival

August 24th - 25th: Shrewsbury Folk Festival (TBC)

September 5th - 8th: Bromyard Folk Festival (TBC)

December 26th: Boxing Day at The Three Tuns

Ceilidhs 2018 - 2019

Everyone loves a good ceilidh, especially when it’s run by The Shropshire Bedlams and Martha Rhoden’s Tuppenny Dish, so we are putting on a number of Ceilidhs in South-West Shropshire:

6th January 2018 at Walcot Hall - Twelfth Night Ceilidh

21st April 2018 at Hope Village Hall - St George’s Ceilidh

23rd June 2018 at Lydbury North Village Hall - Midsummer Ceilidh with ‘Kirkophany’

27th October 2018 at Lydbury North Village Hall - Halloween Ceilidh

5th January 2019 at Walcot Hall - Twelfth Night Ceilidh
